These downloads are compressed collections of files. WinZip is used to
produce the collections in two forms. I recommend you use the
.exe form. It is a self extracting file that by default will
install objects in C:\GLEE\. Everything is created if it doesn't exist
and overwritten if it does exist. If you don't trust .exe's or
want more personal control, use the .zip form.

This version of Glee is written
using Borland's C++ Builder (BCB). To keep the downloads small, I separate the
BCB code from the Glee code. The BCB code seldom changes.
Download it once and that should do for a long time. You should download this
Ancillary code and install it in either C:\GLEE\ directory (the
default for self extracting zip) or in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\
I recommend you install it in C:\GLEE\. There you can be assured it
can't mess up anything else on your machine (unless of course you already have
a C:\GLEE\ directory. ) |
